Just an observation.. When I go to rehash an item, I find the number of categories in the drop-down menu to be…well, I don’t know how to put.,.. there’s too many categories with odd names, several could probably be combined so it doesn’t take so long to scroll and find the right one when trying to list something. RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE:RE: RE: RE: ;) I thought of a possible improvement for the private message area. As it is now, let’s say you’re exchanging messages with a person. Each new message for that one conversation shows up as a new listing on the main inbox page, after 10 msgs, your main page is all listings of that one conversation, bumping other conversations down onto new pages (and out of sight). I think it would be cool if when there was a new message in a conversation, it just added on to the last one, therefore having just one listing or “thread” for the conversation. Perhaps if one is better at deleting messages immediately when done reading this might not be an issue, but I suck at deleting stuff, so my inbox gets really full and messages I need to respond to still get buried :-O Virginia |

Just a suggestion…- Maybe a notification when someone responds to one of your questions on ‘the forest’ or when someone leaves a comment on your profile? ROYAL OAK, MI |

Just a suggestion…- I second that =) And maybe one for when you get new feedback? :) Blanco, TX |

With most enhancement projects, there is a trade off between the magnitude of the item and the available resources. I vote AGAINST adding an IM feature here. I think it will weigh Rehash down. If you want to IM with other Rehash members (e.g. the cool kids), join the Rehash Facebook Group. Lomita (near Los Angeles), CA |

I will update this post with suggestions I am already working on, those which will take into consideration, and the ones I downright refuse for any reason. North Bend, Oregon |

So sorry about the first post, I’m new lol! Anyways here’s my 2cents 1. Having chat/ IM would be very nice while trying to negotiate a trade 2. There are so many items that have been on here for year+ could we have like a year expiration date so you’d have to repost the item? Or once they hit a year cycle them back through as a new rehash? 3. All the “bad” rehashers should be put into a section say “wall of shame” profile rehashes and all 4. All inactive profiles of a year or more be moved into an inactive section and notified if no activity they will be deleted I have just noticed so many bad or inactive rehashers it’s a pain finding an item you love only to notice no one has been home for a year! Thanks!!! North Bend, Oregon |

Thanks!!! I prefer to utilize the active traders page. It lets you know whose made a trade in the past 15 days and makes it sooo much easier to find things you like or are looking for. You can find it on the dropdown menu for community. |

The main thing I’ve noticed with the site is that the pictures are SO tiny. It’s really hard to just scroll through and look for things that stand out because the small sizes cause me to have to click on the pictures to see each one bigger. Cobalt, CT |

I am one that’s for the being able to “open a user’s rehash items in a new window”. Thanks! CRESCENT CITY, CA |

It would be awesome if when you do a search the listings were posted in order of date posted. This would alleviate many of us finding items we love from users that do not use this site anymore and haven’t deleted their listings and profile. |

I would love it if it would say in your completed trades whether or not the other person has left you karma. It takes forever to go through all of them and figure out whether they have left karma or not. Phoenix, AZ |

Thanks!!! I would still support having some kind of expiration date or alternative way of finding active rehashers. In order to stay on that active traders page, people would have to make at least one trade every 15 days. I haven’t made a trade in 15 days, but I’m definitely active. It’s also just a total drag to see wonderful things listed by people who haven’t been here for a year ): Mountain View, CA |
