blessedI love the curl iron I received from Erica. She was unhappy with one of the items I sent to her in our trade. To make it feel more "even" to her she sent that item back and then I sent her something in exchange. Took a bit longer. Would trade again!over 11 years ago -

I have been a member of Rehash now for years. I was a Rehash addict! However due to several moves in and out of state, financial troubles, and basically life in general, I had to take a long hiatus from swapping my awesome items for other people’s awesome items :( Unfortunately during my hiatus, the majority of my clothes, accessories and other personal possessions were either stolen or lost in the many moves- including ALL of the items I had listed on here.
I just want to say that being an artist, I am quite the detail perfectionist. I put a lot of effort into my photos before posting them up here. I make sure I photograph in good lighting, in focus, and as close to the piece as possible. I photograph unique details of the items, front & back when necessary and provide close-ups of the material, as I feel just one blurry photo taken from 6 feet away just doesn’t do any item justice- Even the most gorgeous ones. I spend many hours at night tinkering with tints and contrasts and exposure to make sure I am representing the item as accurately as possible, as true to color as possible and as cleanly as possible. I describe my items in great detail and am honest about any flaws, and I appreciate when others do the same. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve swapped for an item that looked great in the photo, only to find that it was made out of a shiny rayon material, when I thought it was a lightweight cotton. Us women know that you could see the most beautiful dress on the rack, it’s perfect, but when you feel it, if it doesn’t feel like you wanted it to… “Eh, I’ll pass”. That’s why I think it’s important to represent and describe the piece as accurately as possible. I want everyone to be happy and hopefully, someone here will find their favorite item in my closet!
