You know that humongous tag cloud? Yeah, that one. It would be awesome if there weren’t a million of the same tags spelled differently to make like items easier to search. For example: bead, beaded, beads – all under one tag rather than three. Perhaps a feature where tags are auto-edited, or maybe an auto-fill/add new tag when rehashing an item?

That’s how it’s supposed to work, however people enter tags like “big shirt red dots stripes burger king salad fork” without separating with a comma which becomes one tag rather than 9. Also, tags like “bead, beaded, beads” will be considered different tags since they’re spelled differently and our system works by recognizing strings.

Having an auto-fill/suggest feature on it would help alleviate that though, you’re correct.
