I love that this was up, but it will still need some tweaking. First things first – why do I select the style of the book when I put it up? (ex. Hardcover, Paperback) Shouldn’t there be that selection for the individual ads instead? Because that implies that if two people have the same book but different styles, there are going to be two selections for them. Interlachen, Florida |

It seems counter-intuitive, I know, but a lot of research was put into ISBNs and their requirements. BISCAYNE PARK, FL |

Huh. I didn’t know that. How strange. Remember that one karma comment I kept screwing up? I did it again. =P I accidentally give her good karma when I meant bad, and realized that it would be handy to be able to edit ALL of a karma comment, not just the text. Interlachen, Florida |

Allowing people to edit the actual rating opens this up to abuse. Put this into perspective: She already gave you good Karma, then a few hours you rate her badly and she goes ahead and switches over to giving you a bad one just because of what you said, even though she was clearly happy with the trade. Or, even worse, someone goes back and edits all the good Karma they gave you because you decided to trade an item they really wanted with someone else instead of them. The scenarios are endless. I’ll fix the rating for you though, since I know what you were after. BISCAYNE PARK, FL |

I can think of times when I might want a hardcover vs. a softcover—for instance, if I was planning to give the book as a gift. So I’m glad it’s an entirely separate option! How will you deal with Uncorrected Proofs? Could they be their own category? I sometimes have access to books in that format and I frequently see them being traded/sold, and yet they don’t really deserve to be lumped in with released, proofed Paperbacks…. Fountain Hills, AZ |
