It seems that a lot of people are either getting swaplifted or receiving bad karma from people that is undeserved (ie a reversed swap done wrong). Others like myself have been assured that our karma will be restored, but that never seems to happen and very little is done to the swappers who blatantly steal. The majority of us follow the rules and I feel that there should be more done for those of us who are loyal to this site. Kind of like customer service. Just a thought… NORRISTOWN, PA |

Others like myself have been assured that our karma will be restored, but that never seems to happenOnly Orlando can fix karma. He’s been working on upgrading the site and hopefully soon we will be able to fix everyone’s karma. This is one of the big reasons why we stress that if there is a problem, get in touch with an admin. We can usually help settle these things without one or both people resorting to bad karma. and very little is done to the swappers who blatantly steal. We are always looking for new ideas on how to help people avoid having their things stolen. One of the big things we stress is don’t send first to someone with less karma. You’d be amazed at how often that happens. Another tip is to read the other person’s feedback. Sure, they may not have any negative karma, but read what other people have said about swapping with them. At the same time, what would you like us to do? We aren’t cops and we can’t go bang down someone’s door and get either your things back or the things owed. In the past, people have sent postcards telling the swapper who stole from them that they will file mail fraud. If you have been swaplifted, file mail fraud. The majority of us follow the rules and I feel that there should be more done for those of us who are loyal to this site. Kind of like customer service. Just a thought…What else would you like us to do? If you have suggestions, please tell us. Also keep in mind that none of the admins are paid for what we do. Jefferson, Georgia |

Well said, Kristin. That is all true. We love doing our jobs, and we always do our best to help remedy any situation, for all Rehash Members. Not any one of you should be treated different—-we love you oldies for staying loyal(and true…who needs Swapstyle?) & we love you newbies for trying Rehash out and liking it! Blanco, TX |

I do understand all of that, I really do. And I absolutely LOVE this site. It’s just frustrating that in a span of a few weeks I’ve had 3 separate swappers not complete their end. 2 of those were girls on here with excellent karma and I was not in the position to ship second. So I’m out my items, my money, and I’m stuck with bad karma. It just kinda sucks is all. Obviously y’all can’t go out and hunt my stuff down, but the karma issue is something that can be handled. That’s all I’m saying. NORRISTOWN, PA |

This is why we encourage swappers to try their best to handle the situation or come to an admin before leaving karma. Admins cannot just change or remove karma at their leisure. It’s different with retalitory feedback, but we have to do a little work to figure out if it was retalitory in the first place, or if the trader just doesn’t want a negative feedback. Admins still cannot change feedback when they want to. Yet. We may be able to in the future, when Rehash 2.0 is up and at ‘em. Another thing- Blanco, TX |
