I know this has been mentioned on other threads already, but please, please, please can we make this a priority? The worst part about this sidescrolling format is that there is no way to keep our place when we want to look more closely at a rehash. I find that I don’t give as much attention as I should to long, long lists of rehashes because I know I’ll have to scroll through them all over again. The sidescrolling thing also takes a long time to scroll and load different rehashes. If there’s no time/manpower to rehaul the whole thing, Can we at least able to mouseover preview rehashes the same way we can on a rehasher’s profile? Even a simple list of links with tiny or no pictures at all would be better than what we have now, because then at least we could open links in different tabs/windows and keep my place in the list of rehashes. I’ve tried writing an e-mail to whoever “maintains” the site about the issue you’ve mentioned because it is a huge huge pain. This was the day I first joined, approximately a month and a half with no reply. This is what I do to help with the issue of clicking the back button and getting placed at the beginning – I use two browser tabs, in one tab I have a new rehash open, on that page you’ll see the green search box, in the other tab you’ll have your horizontal list of rehashes you’re viewing from another user. If you see an item you think you’ll like, or you want to check out, hover over it to get the title of the rehash and then type some of it in the green search box on the page you have open in the other tab. It will bring the item up, you can click on it and check it out, and keep your place in the other tab. Do this over and over to keep your place. This is the easiest method I have found. I hope it helps you. |
