9 times out of 10, when you see a nice big red “Application Error” or a “503” while using the site, it’s downtime due to an update. Normally we would schedule an update, bring the site down, and leave a happy “Scheduled maintenance, we’ll be back soon” sign posted. However, with the amount of updates and upgrades we’ve been piling on these past few weeks we figure it’s just best to do it and get through it without warning. Kind of like when a doctor takes the focus away from the needle when he’s giving a kid a vaccine. Except we’re not stabbing you in the arm. Or the butt.

This will change in the future, worry not. For now, just wait the 3-4 minutes it takes for the server to recover from our sensual code lovin’ and take solace in the fact that when you’re able to play with Rehash again (really, only 3-4 minutes max!) there will be another goody available somewhere.
