In the past few days, I realize that I have been getting duplicates & multiples of the same message from several people. Not sure if they send it a bunch of times, or if there’s a problem.

I also get an error message a lot of the times that I send a message. I therefore, tried to send it again, and again, and again. (I’m thinking this could cause a me to send multiples of the same message to one person) or maybe it really did not go through.

Not sure what’s going on, Help?

The dupes are from people resending the same message. The error message you’ve seen is caused by an error in sending the email notification to the user, not the sending of the private message. The person still receives it on the site, so when you resend you’re sending the same message again.

This has been happening to me a lot today, this morning, and it also has been happening when I send swap requests :(

Hmm, that’s strange. It definitely shouldn’t be happening anymore. I’ll check that out.

OK, I went through it again and discovered something else was the culprit (in some cases) and fixed that. You should be fine now.
