I’m going to be flying for the first time soon from Pittsburgh to Luxemburg and I was wondering if anyone had any tips. :] Petange, |

Chew gum, bring bottled water, magazines, books, an ipod if you have one, and bring your own smal pillow or blanket if you’re a germ freak like me. True airlines only use them one or twice before disposing of thm but …..lol still. shrugs shoulders Also, if your flight is longer than 5 hours, which I’m thinking it is, wear comfortable clothing. Hey, is it a direct flight or are you stopping somewhere else in the U.S. or Europe on the way to Luxembourg? A direct flight would be much longer and you wouldn’t have breaks to really walk around/stretch and such or shop in airports. Wear comfortable clothing (might be a good idea to have a hoodie or other jacket in case you get cold), eat a decent meal beforehand, have gum to chew especially for take-offs and landings, pack snacks, bring a book, your mp3 player/iPod if you have one, laptop if you have one, a journal to write in (you may want to record things about your first time flying… and certainly about your travels.. or use your laptop for this), something(s) else to keep you busy. If you are traveling with someone else, maybe a deck of cards or a portable/travel-sized board game haha. As for drinks I think with the newer airport security regulations there’s a certain limit to the amount of liquid substances you can bring on board and actually you may have to throw away or finish your drink before boarding because of this.
