Stilettos are fabulous for so many occasions, but I’m not sure they’re appropriate for the office. What do you think? Miami, Florida |

Considering you’re the only one in your office 99.8623455% of the time (2007 est.), you can wear whatever you want. Plus, it’s a dental office, hardly formal. BISCAYNE PARK, FL |

You know here in Miami they wear full on stilettos to Publix @ 8:00am on a Wednesday with full makeup on, new pedi and flawless makeup. So I would say stilettos at the office in our area is a go. Miami/NYC, Florida & NY |

I grew up in Florida and that sounds about right. The women in Florida know how to do it up right, lol! ;) |

Yep that is one thing I miss about moving from Miami to San Francisco. You don’t see that as much here. Well, unless I’m there… wink wink Though getting out of bed early enough to be at the supermarket at 8 am is beyond reason for me… San Francisco, CA |

Count your blessings, Anayma. I’m one of only about five women in Asheville who wear anything other than Tevas or Birkenstocks (yes, they still exist). I feel like I’m personally responsible for holding down the entirety of post-Grateful Dead fashion. This is utterly terrifying, given how poorly I dress. Thank goodness everything is relative. So, yeah… stilettos pretty often. I would wear more comfortable shoes, but SOMEBODY has to counterbalance all that patchouli and armpit hair. It’s stilettos and black suits for me all the way now. Truth be told, I’m much happier: they make me taller and they make my ass look better. Now who doesn’t like that? Asheville, NC |
