I would assume if you're on your feet a lot at work, or do a lot of walking or for any reason you need/want a functional sneaker that doesn't look orthopedic or like an athletic shoe and could be incorporated easily into a cute outfit, these are perfect. I've totally bummed myself out again about these not fitting and will probably try stuffing them ooooone more time to see if I can't tolerate the incorrect size. hahaha
