What to do with graduation cap and gown post-grad?

Okay this might seem like a dumb question, but since this is Rehash and we all “recycle” clothes and whatnot… I was just wondering, what do you guys do with your caps and gowns after graduation? I hate that I have to fork over so much money for it, wear it for a few hours, and then never wear it again. I recently threw out my caps and gowns from middle school and high school, but felt a little tingly inside afterwards. I’m going to feel the same when I throw out my college cap and gown in a few too. So basically, any creative ideas, suggestions, etc?

My hubby and I are planning framing our high school ones and hanging them in the kids rooms as a sort of reminder saying ‘we did it you have to too!’

Thank you Cindy, it is hard on all of us. It’s been really hard on his mom not knowing and wondering if she will ever know before she passes on, he was a good man. And i just seen him at the store that day about 3-4 hours before he got missing, little did i know it would be the last time i ever got to see him. Or i would have told him that i loved him. It’s awful i feel for everyone that has a missing loved one in their family or even a missing friend, because i really know how they feel. Seeing that video really brought back memories from when i was little, we use to go to their house alot to play with all the other kids and i helped my mother babysit his 2 kids, i was 15 when he went missing. Gosh i feel really old now lol,i’ll be 38 in December. Thanks again Cindy alot of people will not even look at that video, or even care because they don’t have a missing loved one. I always say live life to the fullest, and show how much you love someone, and show them how much you really care, because you never know when you will see them again !!

And I have gotten the Kim Kardashian thing quite a bit too, which is funny because if you see me sideways or from behind there’s a very crucial “asset” of hers that I am lacking..
