Green & White Crocheted Piece

I really don't know what this is, it looks like an over-sized doily, though I think it's similar to one. I think it's almost like a tablecloth, I've seen them in people's houses laid out on nice wooden end tables with small porcelain or glass figurines and knick-knacks arranged on them. Could be useful in other ways though; a baby blanket or baby wrap, placed in a babie's crib, pillowcase cover (with some stitching), tablecloth or part of a centerpiece, small throw for a chair or loveseat and other home decoration. It is hand-made "vintage" green & white piece knitted/crocheted into an intricate design. I can get measurements for you if needed, but it is a good size.
